The
Gliding club of Western Australia is situated at
Cunderdin in the heart of the Wheat Belt, only one and a
half hours drive East from Midland. The Club was established
in 1944 and moved to Cunderdin in 1959, being the longest established
Gliding Club in the State. GCWA has grown to be a close knit
club with emphasis on Cross-Country flying and a strong social
group of friends. From the young and old , male and female.
Gliding is truly a sport for all.
How
to get to Cunderdin by train?
You
can get to Cunderdin by train
on Saturday morning and have a return trip to Perth on Sunday
afternoon. This is a very good option for young student trainee
pilot without their own transport. Pick up can be arranged from
the Cunderdin train station if you call on

Car:
On
entering Cunderdin turn left just after the Gull service station
sign posted Wyalkatchem. After about 2 km turn left just after
the Agricultural College, then immediately left again.
